Visiting the Knife Angel in Stoke-on-Trent
Until 28 April 2022, The Knife Angel will be located at Smithfield in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. Adjacent to the bus station and The Potteries Way (the City Centre ring road), Smithfield is easily accessible from all parts of the city and further afield being only 4.5 miles from J15 of the M6.

ARRIVING BY CAR:
The nearest car parking is available at John Street multi-storey car park (Postcode ST1 3BP) and Hinde Street car park.
Directions for John Street multi-story car park: From M6 join A500 and follow signs for City Centre (Hanley). Exit A500 for Etruria/City Centre/Cultural Quarter. At the roundabout take second exit onto Etruria Road. Keep in right-hand lane for turn onto Potteries Way. Turn left onto Bethesda Street and the car park entrance is on the right.
Directions for Hinde Street car park: From M6 join A500 and follow signs for City Centre (Hanley). Exit A500 for Etruria/City Centre/Cultural Quarter. At the roundabout take second exit onto Etruria Road. Keep in right-hand lane for turn onto Potteries Way. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights and then at the roundabout turn right to come back onto Potteries Way in the opposite direction. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights and then turn left onto Hinde Street where the car park is located.
The Knife Angel sculpture is a short walk from both of these car parks.

BRINGING A GROUP
Both minibuses and coaches are allowed to use the bus lane on Bethesda Street that goes in front of The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery to drop passengers off and pick them up.
Coach parking and minibus parking is on Clough Street (street parking)
ARRIVING BY BUS:
The Knife Angel sculpture is located next to the City Centre Bus Station.
National Express & Mega Bus connects Stoke-on-Trent with hundreds of towns and cities all over the UK.
There are a number of bus companies who operate services in Stoke-on-Trent with Potteries First Bus operating the majority of these. Visit the Stoke-on-Trent Bus Information website or the Traveline West Midlands website for full bus services and timetable information.
ARRIVING BY TRAIN:
Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station is on the West Coast Mainline with regular direct high speed trains from London Euston, Birmingham and Manchester.

There is a taxi rank and a regular bus service to and from the City Centre from outside the Railway Station.
