Food & Drink Events
As the home of the world-famous North Staffordshire Oatcake and home to world's finest ale courtesy of the Titanic Brewery, it is to be expected that we should also be home to brilliant food and drink events... and we don't disappoint!
Middleport Pottery and Gladstone Pottery Museum both host annual beer festivals (April and July) where visitors can sample some great beers, ciders and wines whilst enoying live music in the unique surroundings of victorian pottery factories!
The annual Camra Stoke Beer Festival takes place every October at Fenton Manor Sports Complex and offers a huge selection of beers featuring many local breweries, as well as a great range of ciders and fruit wines to experience.
In nearby Stone, the Stone Food & Drink Festival, which takes place on the first weekend in October, has grown into one of the Midlands’ biggest and busiest food festivals.
Rode Hall Farmers Market takes place on the first Saturday of each month and offers a selection of the best regional and local produce of 60 local stallholders from Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire.
Pay a visit to nearby Leek on the third Saturday of every month and you will come across the award-winning Leek Fine Food Market where you'll find home-made pies and cakes, local cheeses, speciality preserves, aromatic artisan bread and locally produced ice cream, locally farmed meats, honey and much more local Staffordshire produce.
