5 things to do this bank holiday weekend in Stoke!

What's happening this weekend in Stoke? A lot! From fun filled activities for your little ones to a classic car and steam trains rally, your bank holiday weekend will be jam packed!

Don't miss out on your chance to visit the Three Counties Open Art Exhibition! This year's Three Counties Open Art exhibition will take place again at the stunning Burslem School of Art. This is a chance to celebrate contemporary local artists and support a series of free public workshops giving people the opportunity create their own artworks and have space to learn new skills.

The Big Feast Festival is back in Hanley, but only Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th of August! Their Supper Club have been busy working behind the scenes to create a delicious menu for you to sink your teeth into. It is a free, outdoor event where art and artists pop-up in streets and buildings within the City Centre. It's a feast of accessible, family-friendly fun to tickle everybody's taste buds, giving you an August bank-holiday weekend unlike any other! Join in from 11am to 5pm and dig in!

The BIG day out for little kids is coming back to Newcastle on the 26th of August! The fun-filled festival - designed especially for under 10's, is filled with all the fun and games your family could ever want to make this exciting day out one to be remembered! Funtopia has high energy inflatables, role play areas, shows and competitions, character meet and greets, giant games, huge water fights, a tasty food court and more! There is even have an incredible Under 5's area for the mini guests, filled with Bouncy Castles, Soft Play, Ball Pool, Ride On's and other fun toys and games. 

Into your Land Rovers? Why not go to a gathering of Land Rovers – but only Leaf Spring Land Rover qualify. Lots of 4×4 nostalgia for everyone! Come on down to Apedale Valley Light Railway from the 26th-27th of August for a day you won't forget!

Fancy showing off your classic? At Apedale Valley Light Railway you have your chance! But that's not all! The Classic Cars and Steam trains rally will be on at 11:30-4pm 28th August. You don't want to miss out!

A new carefully curated street food pop-up concept by local beer company, Candid. The Foodbox pop-up will happen on the last Saturday of each month this summer in the World of Wedgwood courtyard, bringing a variety of delicious cuisines to Stoke-on-Trent all in one place.
