The Emma Bridgewater factory sits in a lovely position alongside the Caldon Canal lies in the heart of The Potteries. The beautiful sunny Victorian factory is ideally located just on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent's City Centre. Awarded two of VisitEngland's top accolades for "Best Told Story" and "Quality Food & Drink" in 2017, visitors can head on a fascinating factory tour, try your hand at decorating a piece of your very own unique piece of Emma Bridgewater pottery, relax for lunch in the beautiful kitchen sat beside the spotty Aga, or enjoy an afternoon in the delightful garden behind the factory.
The factory has got a a lovely gift shop selling the newest designs as well as a gorgeous factory outlet full of your favourite pieces that stocks a wide range of seconds (slightly imperfect items) and discontinued lines; tableware, cookware and textiles at reduced prices. For the collector or avid fan they have the occasional sample and one off pieces.
Kitchen Cafe
The cosy cafe serves fresh, simple and tasty food, often inspired by Emma Bridgewater’s own recipes. It is a lovely place to meet with family or friends and relax over a delicious, home cooked lunch or enjoy tea and cakes.
Decorating Studio
Decorate a unique piece of pottery in the Decorating Studio. These make the perfect mementos for your visit or make a really special present for a friend or loved one! For that special occassion why not hold a party at our bright and inspiring Decorating Studio attached to the main factory. Perfect for birthdays and school groups and not only for children. Come and look behind the scenes on a fascinating factory tour and see how they hand make and hand decorate all of the beautiful pottery. Booking in advance is required.
